Hi, I'm Prof. (Dr.) Amit Jain

I currently serve as President (Vice Chancellor) of Amity University Rajasthan. Before this role I was Pro Vice Chancellor, Dean of the Faculty of Management, and Director of the Business School at the same university — and earlier, Director of International Collaborations and Director of the School of Hotel Management at Manipal University Jaipur. I was also a founding faculty member of JK Lakshmipat University, where I led corporate training and consultancy.

I hold a PhD from Sardar Patel University and completed a Faculty Development Programme at IIM Ahmedabad. Along the way I've been a Visiting Professor at the University of Technology Sydney, Szechenyi Istvan University (Hungary), J. Selye University (Slovakia), and RWU Germany, and I've worked closely with UGC, NAAC, QS, and THE frameworks while leading a multidisciplinary university.

Beyond the university, I've designed training programmes for organisations like Bank of Baroda, GAIL, and JK Tyre, and I write regularly on where higher education is heading — most recently on AI literacy and employability. Outside of work, I love travelling, cycling, and listening to music.
